Authenticity & Certificates of Authenticity
Authenticity is everything.
At Vault 7 Collectibles, every item is obtained in person, signed directly by the artist, and documented to ensure confidence for collectors.
We do not sell reproductions, autopen signatures, or mass-signed items. Each piece offered is a genuine, one-of-one collectible acquired through live show access.
HOW OUR SIGNATURES ARE OBTAINED
All signatures sold by Vault 7 Collectibles are obtained using the following process:
-
We attend live shows in person
-
VIP access or meet-and-greet opportunities are purchased directly
-
Items are signed face-to-face by the artist
-
No mail-in services are used
-
No third-party signing events are involved
This ensures full provenance and eliminates uncertainty about how or when a signature was obtained.
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY (COA)
Every signed item includes a seller-issued Certificate of Authenticity provided by Vault 7 Collectibles.
Each COA documents:
-
The artist or band name
-
The item signed
-
The city and venue where the signature was obtained
-
The date the signature was acquired
-
Confirmation that the item was signed in person
The COA serves as written documentation of provenance and accompanies the item at the time of sale.
WHY SELLER-ISSUED COAs ARE STANDARD
In the collectibles market, seller-issued Certificates of Authenticity are widely accepted when:
-
The seller personally witnessed the signing
-
The signing was obtained directly from the artist
-
The item’s history and origin are clearly documented
Vault 7 Collectibles issues COAs only for items signed in person under our direct supervision. We do not issue COAs for items we did not personally obtain.
FRAMING & PRESENTATION
All framed items are professionally presented to protect and display the artwork properly.
-
Display-ready framing
-
Protective materials used during shipment
-
Items arrive ready to hang
Framing details are listed on each individual product page.
GUARANTEE OF AUTHENTICITY
Vault 7 Collectibles guarantees that every signed item sold:
-
Is authentic
-
Was signed in person
-
Matches its accompanying Certificate of Authenticity
If an item is ever proven to be inauthentic, we will work directly with the buyer to make it right.
